The X Prize Foundation announced its newest competition a few days ago. The Google Lunar X Prize competition will award $20 million to the first private team to put a successful rover on the Moon, and there are other prizes as well. Buzz Aldrin, NASA's Shana Dale, Peter Diamandis, Elon Musk, and Google co-founder Larry Page join the celebration. Emily Lakdawall's Q&A wonders if life on Mars could have been blasted to Earth. And Bruce Betts knows a mouse that has a Planetary Radio t-shirt for our latest trivia contest winner. He joins Mat Kaplan to explore What's Up and announce a new space trivia contest.
